Over the course of his extraordinary life, Dr. Lyons made a name for himself — not only as a pioneering scientist and savvy entrepreneur, but for his remarkable dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. To continue this legacy, Alltech commemorates Dr. Lyons’ birthday every year with Make a Difference Day, when team members around the world go out into their communities to volunteer, perform acts of service and more. This year, the Alltech New Zealand team is focusing its Make a Difference Day efforts on the Saving Hope Foundation, a dog rescue and rehabilitation organisation. Since being founded in 2017, the organisation has rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed more than 3,000 dogs — and demand for its services only continue to grow. As part of Make a Difference Day, the Alltech New Zealand team is seeking donations of blankets, bedding, dog food and accessories for the Saving Hope Foundation. If you would like to contribute to their efforts, donations can be delivered to the Alltech New Zealand office at 79 Mihini Road, Henderson, Auckland 0612, New Zealand, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. between Aug. 5–9. Alternatively, items can be dropped of at Bunnings Warehouse stores Botany, Manukau and Mt Wellington until Sunday 11th August during opening hours. #savinghoperescue #alltechnewzealand #MakeADifference
