This week our International Travel Retail team attended the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference. The show brings together the largest gathering of professionals in travel retail and the duty-free industry. We were excited to showcase our interactive booth, highlighting: our innovative transaction zone concept to increase footfall and boost sales for our customers, immersive travel experiences with our iconic M&M’S brand and our sustainability initiatives driving a greener future in travel retail. We also launched our new product portfolio and unique gifting solutions for travel retail including M&M’S party packs, new designs for our best-selling gifting tins and M&M’s pouches with inspiring messages. It was fantastic to connect with our customers, the media and leaders in the travel retail space. Today, we’re celebrating 100 years of the Milky Way bar, and we couldn’t come up with a single astronomical pun… what a cosmic failure (we’ll show ourselves out). The start of football season is a sweet time here at Mars—and it was even sweeter for our Associates at Mars Ice Cream in Burr Ridge, IL this year. They were recently treated to a visit by Rome Odunze, rookie wide receiver for the Chicago Bears.
