✨ FutureGrid Welcomes Daniel Harvey! ✨ We're pleased to announce the latest appointment to the FutureGrid team, Assistant Project Manager, Daniel Harvey.🎉   He joins as they move into Phase 2 - Compression and Deblending for Transport. Working alongside Project Manager, Haroon Khan, he will be key in guiding the project toward success.💡   As the FutureGrid workload increases, Dan's project management skills arrive at the perfect time. It may come as no surprise that July 2024 was cooler than average. This colder weather, coupled with a dry and sunny June, led to a 21% month-on-month increase in gas used across Britain, the biggest June-July jump since we started this series! ☀ ☔ Other key insights from July's Gas Explained series: 💡 Power station share of demand rose to 17% as gas produced more electricity than any other source. 📈 The UK and Norwegian Continental Shelf share of supply to the UK has grown for six consecutive months - this is normal as we replenish our stocks over the summer. #GasExplained #EnergyInsights #UKGasSupply

This could range from activities that help our journey to net zero, right through to projects that help the day-to-day running of Great Britain's NTS.
