To complete Animal Crossing: New HorizonsMuseum on Switch, you’ll need to donate one of each fossil piece.

Four fossils can be dug up each day per island. After handing them to Blathers for him to assess, he’ll tell you what they are and whether they need to be donated. From there, you can either decide to sell your fossils, donate them, or keep them for yourself.

If you’re missing a fossil, consider starting a trade group with your friends. Share what fossils you’re missing, and hopefully you can share the duplicates you get with each other to complete the Museum quicker.

Below, we’ve put together of all the fossils we know of, based on our own findings.
