I practice evidence based conventional medication management but am complementary-medicine and alternative-medicine friendly. I will take patients who work with other psychotherapists and are in need of medication management alone, or am able to provide both services.

She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2017 from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Following, she joined the Durango, Colorado community and has practice psychiatric care across the lifespan in multiple settings for patients ages 12 and older.

Alyssa received her Master of Science in Nursing from Rivier University where she specialized in psychiatric mental health. She is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Alyssa worked as a staff nurse in the psychiatric inpatient setting for 10 years.

I am a board-certified Physician Assistant. I earned my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant (CHA/PA) program. Prior to PA school I was a clinical social worker and have worked in the inpatient psychiatric hospital setting, residential programs for adults with intellectual disabilities and in community mental health providing services to at-risk youth. I completed my Bachelors of Social Work at Colorado State University and my Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver.

Marisa Amelung, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a master's prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) extern. She currently serves clients ages 18+ at Peak Interactive Wellness in Denver, Colorado. Marisa graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and attended Frontier Nursing University where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
