My approach to therapy is a strong belief in the resiliency of the human spirit. I feel my client is the expert on who he/she is and my role is to facilitate greater learning and growth in a collaborative way through the therapeutic relationship. I have almost 20 years in the field and utilize various modalities to assist my client in his/her journey toward growth and healing. I work with individuals--children, teens, and adults--struggling with life adjustments, family issues, past trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. I have experience working with First Responders.

I believe that what you need to heal already lives inside you! ​ It’s my job to help you access it. I work from an Internal Family System (IFS) lens, which is a gentle, non-pathologizing approach that helps you reconnect to the wisdom and compassion you were born with. In IFS, we respect that we are all made up of many parts. At the heart of our work together is a journey of discovering your truest self.

I am now seeing clients in person in the Liberty Lake office. I am looking forward to helping you reach your personal goals and overcome life's challenges. While counseling is not a cure for all of life's problems, the tools and insight gained through this process can help you carry your load in a productive way. I have worked with adults, adolescents and children in both the hospital and school settings. Some areas of my expertise are relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. I am an EMDR and trauma informed therapist and work with clients to shift the narratives that can hold them back from their potential.

It is my belief that we are are designed to heal through relationships. I am a therapist, but foremost, I am a person who engages others in conversations in attempt to make their lives better. It is my goal to use my skills to help open doors for others to see their own strengths, to feel empowered, and to become liberated. If I am able to convey to you that I am someone you can share your story with and that I am someone that is trustworthy... then movement forward can happen and the healing process will begin.

I will use my 14 years of clinical experience, my training in trauma-informed theories such as EMDR, and my care for you as a human being to uplift your strengths and validate you throughout the entire therapeutic process.

Ryanne specializes in mental health and addiction treatment. She utilizes a Solution Focused approach; focusing on client goals, strengths, and coping skills to help clients of all ages work through trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Ryanne is also trained to work with clients who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, behavioral/anger issues, and grief.

The purpose of counseling is to provide a safe environment for you to discuss the issues and concerns that have brought you to counseling. My desire is to walk alongside you and provide insight, encouragement, and support. We will work together to find the best resolution for those issues and concerns.

I primarily have experience working with adults through a wide range of life stages and with diverging ability statuses. Currently, my focus is working with adults and late teens through various presenting concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
