I view the dynamic of peoples curiosity as an asset and that everyone can grow and change if the motivation is right. The counselor client relationship at the most important component to making the most profound change. The strength lies within for everyone looking to improve their overall mental health.

I bring years of experience to my practice, which began in 1995. My work with people includes trauma recovery, chronic illness, grief and loss, PTSD, disability issues, depression and anxiety. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, which includes; EMDR, Somatics and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In my work with individuals I regard all people as being whole, taking into account a person's strengths and potentials. I work to enable people to make choices beneficial to their real needs and values, evoking a sense of purpose and intention in life.

I offer psychotherapy in a safe and collaborative environment where you can explore the challenges of everyday living. Through a process of assisted self-discovery we create the conditions for healing to occur. My approach is holistic and experiential. I specializes in relationship struggles, mood difficulties and life transitions. My therapy is individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. In session with clients I create the opportunity for limiting habitual behavioral patterns and core beliefs to safely surface to conscious awareness so that they can be explored and where appropriate, transformed.

I offer coaching and psychotherapy to support women who wish to connect with and express their most authentic Self, in order live a life aligned with their soul's purpose. I help you to move beyond fear, doubt and shame inflicted by culture and life experience, so that you may love yourself more fully and offer your gifts freely to the world. To support you in this deep healing process, we may incorporate various somatic and spiritual practices into our work together, based on your unique needs and values.

Self acceptance, insight and change. Those are the three main goals of therapy. I first have to accept where I am and who I am in life. Second I need to develop an understanding of how am I am contributing to these repeated patterns or am I being resistant to taking ownership, and lastly doing something different, even if it is scary or uncomfortable.
