I'm now accepting new clients (online only)! My practice focuses on integrating evidence-based practices with other holistic methods. We'll explore past wounds/trauma and acknowledge how this plays a role in current relationships and personal wellness or chronic illness. We'll investigate spirituality and purpose to create a sense of fulfillment and passion for life, and work to create balance and resilience to face all of life's challenges with strength and greater ease. Over 20 years of therapeutic bodywork, clinical training in mental health and classical homeopathy gives me a unique lens through which I view clients and help

Change is difficult, but it is possible. I help people identify the changes they want to make and support them in their journey toward their goals. I use a holistic and flexible approach that is designed to meet the needs of the individual. I am direct yet gentle and I challenge clients to trust and listen to themselves. I believe that living in the moment, known as mindfulness, is one of the most helpful tools that we have available to help us to learn how to foster compassion for ourselves and others, quiet our fears, identify what is important, and create the life we want.

TRUST Peer reviewed articles published in recent years regarding and quantifying the importance of trust between a client and his or her mental health clinician indicate that the professional’s education or credentials have less to do with positive therapeutic outcomes than trust between the client and clinician. Finding a clinician you might trust can be a time consuming proposition. However, a relatively quick and totally free phone call may give you an initial indication of whether the professional on the other end of the phone may be suited to help you with the present difficult situation at hand.

Justun's counseling background is rooted in helping veterans struggling with substance-use and trauma-related challenges, teens and families experiencing behavioral, emotional and school-related challenges and men struggling with co-occurring substance use and mental health related challenges. Justun's approach is strength-based, client-centered and based on the real-world perspective that sometimes life throws us challenges, or we get stuck in a rut, and just need some help getting things back on track.
