Sometimes life can be overwhelming and frustrating with the uncertainty of what to do next. Having the courage to come to counseling is the first step to get some of those questions answered. In the beginning, building a good rapport with clients is my focus to help them feel comfortable in the process. I can help clients work through the difficult things that are uncomfortable to think about or even to talk about. Clients do feel rewarded once they do, and they can make the changes they want in their lives. A diagnosis does not have to define as a person, but it can help them live their best life.

I work with clients who struggle with regulating their emotions, have an unstable sense of self, feelings of worthlessness, impulsivity that leads to negative consequences, and struggle keeping or maintaining healthy relationships. I work with clients who are motivated and willing to challenge their current perspectives to adopt a new and healthier way of living life mindfully.

Many of my clients have been told they are “too much” and struggle with exhaustion as they attempt to meet the expectations of those around them while minimizing their own needs. I walk alongside individuals who are looking to tame feelings of anxiety or depression. Sometimes this work includes discussing difficulties with focus or staying grounded in relationships. It may center around parenting responsibilities or relating to career/academic goals. I help clients identify their strengths, their values, and their needs, so they can build a life filled with peace and fulfillment that is uniquely their own.

As we engage in equine therapy we witness the incredible bond between horses and humans, crating a safe and transformative space for growth and healing. I hold genuine and positive regard for my clients which enables me to encourage and support them as they come to understand the origins of their challenges and how to meet and transform them. I counsel individuals (ages 17 and up). My practice focuses on transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, spirituality and meaning and highly sensitive persons (HSPs). My commitment is to discover the strengths and gifts of each client so they may discover their true self.

Dr. Reich provides evidence-based assessment & intervention for all ages. She assists individuals & families with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship/marital issues, PTSD, ADHD, & issues of life change. She assists with health-related concerns such as weight & nutrition, sleep disorders, chronic pain, & stress management. She has particular expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities. Holly has extensive training in the integration of psychology & Biblically-grounded theology. She provides Christian counseling, if requested, where faith is an important part of the healing process.

I have several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to help with anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and challenging life transitions.
