📢 ⏩ Event: join us for the « transform through EPR : How EPR finances waste management and enables investment in Zambia🇿🇲 » 🎯About the project #EU funded Africa RISE and SWITCH to #Green Facilities joined forces with Ministry of Green #Economy, #EUD #Zambia, SADC Business Council and COMESA Business Council to pilot test an Extended Producer Responsibility (#EPR) model in #Zambia.The initiative targets the management of #plastic #waste through improved EPR #legislation, establishing #governance structures, and pilot of a #Producer Responsibility Organization (#PRO) model by working with brands, #recyclers, #waste collectors, GoZ. Over 10,000 people have already been reached by this initiative. 🎯Kusankha Pilot Project The PRO EPR pilot was launched on the 1st of August as the #KusankhaPilotProject.
