Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla have farewelled Australia after an historic visit. Their Majesties met thousands of Australians in iconic locations around Sydney and Canberra. It was The King’s first visit to Australia as Sovereign and his first to any realm as Monarch.

Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla have attended a community BBQ in Sydney hosted by the Premier of New South Wales, Chris Minns. The cultural diversity of modern Australia was on display with a variety of food stalls and performances.

With a backdrop of the stunning Sydney Harbour, Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla have overseen a fleet review of Royal Australian Navy ships. After the Fleet Review, the Royal Australian Air Force conducted an aerial flypast over the harbour.

Thousands of Australians have gathered in front of the Sydney Opera House to meet Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

The National Centre for Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) welcomed His Majesty King Charles III with a traditional ceremony by Gadigal members of the Eora Nation. His Majesty then met with a range of community representatives, including the Gamay Rangers and Elders from across the Sydney region.

Her Majesty Queen Camilla spent time at OzHarvest today helping with the lunch service and meeting patrons. OzHarvest provides nourishing meals to those in need, using food that would have otherwise gone to waste.

Her Majesty Queen Camilla attended a discussion on family and domestic violence in Australia, hosted by HE the Hon Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia and chaired by Padma Raman PSM, Executive Director of the Office for Women at Government House. The conversation was led by First Nations women and focused on the importance of embedding lived experience in preventing and responding to family violence, and looked at new and emerging forms of violence and recent developments in Australia.
