Our Regional Manager for the Northern Beaches Sarah Kingsbeer spoke at the "Informed & Empowered: Disability and Housing" seminar last week hosted by Action for People with Disability. The seminar was all about building an understanding of disability housing rights, housing pathways, sustaining tenancies, housing modifications, related services available and the role of NCAT as well as hearing a lived experience. Thanks to all the speakers: Chris Anderson and Nikki Perry from Marrickville Legal Centre and Scott Taylor from Action for People with Disability, A huge thanks to Lisa Duffy from Action for People with Disability for organising this great event.

As a community housing provider working at the coalface of Sydney’s housing crisis, we at Bridge Housing know that a safe, secure, affordable home is the basis for people to do well as part of our broader community. We are both a tenant and a landlord, with 3,600 tenancies under management, including 600 headleased through the private market.
