How amazing is it that Shawn Mendes feels comfortable enough to say he is “figuring it out” when it comes to his sexuality. You don’t need to label it, nor explain yourself to people, but this is courageous and awesome that he felt like he could share. Whatever you do now Shawn, there’s nothing holding you back! Progress may seem small, but then moments like this happen which remind us how far we have come. #shawnmendes #generational #support #progress #leadership

Elevating LGBTQ+ talent and creating change in the property and construction industry. Supported by allies 🏳️🌈
About us
We focus on helping LGBTQ+ people in the property and construction industry be their best and to thrive. Through mentoring, Site based initiatives, employment assistance, networking and industry wide education, we aim to connect with not just the LGBTQ+ community, but also people from outside. We will listen, learn, educate and engage. Because if we want to achieve equality, we need everyone to come onboard for the journey. Forget big business tokenism and politics, we come from construction sites and get s**t done!

We loved celebrating Pride in Brisbane over the last week with a bunch if festivities!
Fantastic way to end the week. After hosting BuildingPride event Designing Queer Spaces John Holland joined BuildingPride along with other industry leaders to participate in the Brisbane Pride March. It’s great to see so many groups across industry and government coming together to celebrate inclusion feeling proud knowing what John Holland is already doing. A special thanks to John Bradbury for your efforts towards making the event and the march a success and to my Co-Chair Brendan Newham and I&D leader Ben Crough for your insights and support at the event and my marching troupe Suzanne Mah, 🚝 Anthony Ko, Simon Wang and Stuart… excited for next year already! 🧡🧚♀️🌈 #pridenetwork #proud #iamanally
