The last couple of weeks have been so busy with 3 superyachts arrivals, it has been a real workout for the Megayacht berth and marina staff! Sarah from Carter Marine Agencies has been here everyday looking after the vessels, she is like a new staff member now. The start of 2025 has been a super busy time for the Carter Marine Agencies team throughout Australia. As we cast the lines and wave goodbye to one of our clients in Cairns, we look forward to welcoming them to the Gold Coast in the coming days

For some time now, we have been diligently preparing for the 2024 SYGGBR AGM, which was held last Friday, at he Shangri La Hotel in Cairns Marina. We have been sincerely committed to raising member engagement over the last few months and especially for this important process, which sees the democratic voting in of a new executive committee by our members. It seems to have paid off with the highest levels of voting we have ever seen, and the largest number of candidates on our ballot. I must take this opportunity to thank every single person who put themselves forward, along with every member who showed up for their group and industry. It was a very competitive process and I understand the votes were very close. So on this note, it is my honour to welcome our committee for 2025.
