Reflecting on one incredible year of partnership with the Canberra Hospital Foundation and raising nearly $40,000 for the Compete for OUR HEART challenge!! A huge thank you to the Canberra Hospital Foundation for their inspiring partnership, and to Susan Proctor for not only presenting the Heart of the Community - Club of the Year awards but also for taking on the role of dedicated taste tester for the Best Burger competition! 🍔 Her commitment (and the team of burger-loving judges!) was key in crowning Thoroughbred Park’s ‘Feed the Seoul’ (Small Club) and EASTLAKE GROUP’s ‘CHF Chicken Burger’ (Large Club) as this year’s champions. Congratulations as well to Canberra Southern Cross Club (Large Club) and the Harmonie German Club Canberra (Small Club) for being awarded Heart of the Community - Club of the Year, representing the incredible dedication of our clubs to community support.
