Sydney's latest flight training centre was officially opened on 18 November in St Peters to help service the training needs of Australia's g rowing airline industry. This purpose built 8,000sqm facility was developed by ESR for global aviation training leader CAE who deliver advanced simulation technology and operations support solutions that optimise learning and help pilots and cabin crew consistently perform at their best. FDC have worked closely with stakeholders to deliver an impressive project including: - Simulator bays for eight full motion flight simulators including the Airbus A350. - Purpose built training rooms for specialist cabin crew training including a mock fuselage, emergency escape slides and door training rooms. - Digitally connected classroom, office and presentation facilities. Understanding the intricate training and compliance requirements for aircraft pilots and crew along with provisioning for future equipment installations as technology advances has been key to building a tailored state-of-the-art facility. FDC are proud to have delivered this incredible project together with ESR Australia & NZ, CAE and Qantas along with design consultants PACE ARCHITECTS, Northrop Consulting Engineers and Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd. Tired of the usual pub lunches and drinks, we decided to shake things up this Christmas! Huge thanks to Jack Wright from Qanstruct and Stephen O'Connor from Barings for joining us in catching some Christmas waves and barrels at URBNSURF Olympic Park. 

It's awards season! Moorebank Intermodal Precinct (MIP) has recently been awarded Project of the Year by Premier Chris Minns at the Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue Boomtown! Awards, as well as receiving the Outstanding Freight & Commercial Precinct accolade. As Australia’s largest intermodal precinct, spanning 240 hectares, MIP is transforming the nation's freight supply chain. This $4 billion hub has created thousands of jobs in Western Sydney and worked extremely hard to redefine sustainable logistics with decreased carbon emissions. We’re truly so proud to have played a major role in the delivery of this project. CRC provided design and project delivery services on the critical warehouse infrastructure, including the key access artery to the precinct Bushmaster Avenue! Congratulations to everyone involved!

Costin Roe Consulting are pleased to announce our new company shareholders – Dermot Nolan, Xavier Cure, Angus McDougall & Daniel Ishac Soliman! These team members are incredibly dedicated and have played a pivotal role in the growth of our business. Their hard work and commitment over the years has been invaluable. This move is part of a greater long-term business strategy that will see these shareholders accepting greater roles in the management and running of the business. Structural steel erection is well underway at 42 Boorea Street, Lidcombe, a multi-level industrial development, following completion of first phase civil and foundation works by ADCO Constructions.   The unique facility designed by SBA Architects and Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd will provide much-needed supply of super prime tenancies with enviable proximity to major arterial roads and motorways.   Tactical Group Australia & New Zealand's very own superstar Sachin Kaul (Senior Project Manager), with oversight from Ebrahim Nateghi CPPM (Principal and Industrial Lead) are proudly managing this project on behalf of Hale and LaSalle Investment Management. We are thrilled to announce that our Coles Oakdale West project has been awarded the NSW Steel Clad Structures Award by the Australian Steel Institute (ASI)! Congratulations to Goodman, Richard Crookes Constructions, SBA, and Mario and Sons Steel Fabrication Pty Ltd for their incredible efforts in bringing this project to life. The project utilised 2,000 tonnes of primary steel through both the 36m high-bay warehouse and the adjoining 26m high-bay warehouse. We’re extremely proud of this project and pleased to see it recognised! Well done everyone! #ASISteelExcellenceAwards

A huge congratulations to Prime Projects (NSW) Pty Limited for their incredible win at the Master Builders Association of New South Wales 2024 Awards night! Their work on Goodman's Southend Lane project earned them the Excellence in Construction NSW Award for Adaptive Re-Use: $20 Million & Over—a truly well-deserved recognition. We’d also like to extend our congratulations to BESIX Watpac for their outstanding achievement on AXIS Alexandria, which won them the Excellence in Construction 2024 award for Industrial Buildings $25 Million – $50 Million. And another big congratulations to Richard Crookes Constructions for their win in the Industrial Buildings $50 Million – $100 Million category for their exceptional work on Northern Beaches Business Park Cromer. We are proud to have been involved in bringing this project to life as well! Our team is incredibly proud to have been part of all three of these fantastic projects, and it’s a privilege to work alongside such talented builders.
