While its overall score improved compared to 2021, the airline is still seen as a ‘stepping stone’ for pilots. Can Ryanair improve its score? What do European pilots and Members of the EU Parliament (MEP) have in common? MEPs and pilots both hold vital roles—whether as legislators or frontline professionals—in ensuring aviation safety throughout Europe! What better way to welcome newly elected MEPs to #Brussels than by giving them a first-hand flight experience with commercial airline pilots? Capt. Tanja Harter, Capt. Patrick A., and Capt. Gianluca Carpino took MEPs on a thrilling flight simulator journey into the world of aviation. This unique event offered MEPs hands-on flight experience, revealing the beauty and challenges of flying, while engaging them in the aviation sector they will soon shape through policies and new pieces of regulation. We're excited to work together with MEPs to enhance aviation safety and foster a socially sustainable aviation industry in Europe. Don't miss the photos of MEPs in action, alongside ECA’s Board members! A big thank you to all participants for making it an unforgettable experience!
