All the Youth Initiative for Land in Africa (YILAA) thank so much Land Portal Foundation for your great communication support. We are grateful.
🌍 Empowering Africa's Youth Through Land Rights 🌍 In his powerful address at the Fourth International Conference on Youth and Land Governance in Africa (CIGOFA4), His Royal Highness Drani Stephen Izakare, Paramount Chief of the Madi tribe and Chairman General of FATA, highlighted an urgent truth: Africa's sustainable development depends on empowering youth with secure land rights. Land access is more than economics; it’s culture, identity, and the foundation for our future. With 90% of sub-Saharan Africa’s land under customary tenure, youth and women often face restricted access. HRH Izakare calls for increased resources for traditional authorities, closer cooperation with governments, and integration of Pan-African unity to transform land access and rural economies. Together, let’s create a sustainable and prosperous future by ensuring our youth have the opportunities they need.
