About us

CCAB is a national member-based business organization. We drive business opportunities and build sustainable relationships. Our members include Indigenous businesses, Indigenous community owned economic development corporations, and companies operating in Canada. CCAB is non-partisan and receives no core government funding. CCAB's Progressive Aboriginal Relations™ (PAR) certification program recognizes and supports continuous improvement in Aboriginal relations. It is the premier certification program of its type in the world, assisting companies achieve greater results. CCAB Events connect businesses across Canada with opportunities and excellence in sustainable relations. These events include CCAB galas to celebrate success, business luncheons featuring Canada's leading CEOs, and Indigenous Business Forum conferences with leading industry experts weighing in on areas of opportunity. CCAB Programs and Services facilitate the growth of Indigenous businesses and Indigenous entrepreneurs. For example, our unique programs such as the Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program, is a highly effective and instrumental relationship and network building platform that nurtures through peer mentorship — business skills and abilities and best practice approaches utilized by our Indigenous business leaders. CCAB Awards recognize success in business and sustainable relationships between Indigenous communities and the business community in Canada. CCAB awards include Aboriginal Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) Award, Aboriginal Business Lifetime Achievement Award, Young Aboriginal Entrepreneur Award, Indigenous Women In Leadership (IWIL) Award and the Award of Excellence in Aboriginal Relations. CCAB original Research initiatives provide leading intelligence on the Indigenous economy and Indigenous owned businesses.
