Advancing Global Simulation Training: ITTC Participates in "Pipeline 24" Exercise The International Tactical Training Centre (ITTC) has completed successful participation in the "Pipeline 24" global air combat Distributed Mission Operation (DMO), hosted by CogSim Technologies Inc. This leading-edge event brought together military and tactical training experts from the UK, Australia, Sweden, and Canada, into a joint online training environment, highlighting the power of international collaboration in advanced simulation training. Our team was proud to be a part of this innovative exercise, which allowed us to engage with global partners and share valuable insights and experiences. The "Pipeline 24" event marked another significant first for ITTC leveraging our in-house Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) training capability. The insights gained from this first DMO have been invaluable in progressing our integrated simulation training. By exploiting advanced networking and simulation technologies, we move closer to providing comprehensive LVC training solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern tactical training. ITPS appreciates Eagle Dynamics Mission Systems contributing terrain licenses to enable participation in the Pipeline 24 event. #Pipeline24 #DistributedMissionOperation #ITTC #SimulationTraining #DISProtocol #LVCTraining #CogSimTechnologies #GlobalCollaboration #MilitaryTraining

The last day of #IITSEC 2023 is upon us! If you haven’t yet, today’s the day to stop by the MAK booth (1420) and control the airspace like a battle manager as part of the MAK ONE Air demo. With VR-Forces CGF, orchestrate a multi-domain scenario focusing on an Offensive Counter Air (OCA) mission interacting with a pilot role-player using VR-Engage and VR-Vantage IG. Use CogSim Technologies Inc.’s TDL plugin for VR-Forces to get the common operating picture from the simulated Link-16 Tactical Data Link (TDL). Don’t miss the MAK ONE Air demo live! #MAKONE #VRForces #ControlTheAirspace Ross Uhler, PMP Murray Gamble Deb Fullford

CogSim Technologies Product Spotlight - Day 5: Training & Simulation Platforms While our previous product spotlights focused on our Tactical Data Link simulation technology, we'd like to highlight that we are a systems integrator that develops and maintains numerous training & simulation platforms. As a matter of fact, our TDL simulation technology was initially developed as part of the fulfillment of TDL interoperability requirements for our training & simulation platforms. Supporting all of our simulation systems is our RPX Simulation Framework. The RPX Simulation Framework provides real-time data distribution services, including publish/subscribe and a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), simulation executive, application management, performance monitoring and tuning, and all of the essential services and functionality necessary to create real-time, distributed and interoperable training & simulation systems for air, land, and maritime domains. Some highlights include: - Plugin framework - Environment server - Navigation server - Mission function server - Instructor/Operator Station (IOS) - After-Action Review (AAR) system Our RPX Mission Support Simulator (MSS) provides a fighter platform role-playing system capable of providing a blue or red air presence to distributed simulation exercises. The RPX MSS can be configured with a range of flight dynamics, sensors, and weapons models representative of 4th and 5th-generation fighter capabilities. The RPX MSS can be packaged as a desktop system, a "flying chair," or an immersive cockpit with various out-the-window visualization options. Our RPX Unmanned Aerial System (UAS)/Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) simulation system provides a reconfigurable training & simulation platform for drone operations. Air Vehicle Operator (AVO), Mission Payload Operator (MPO), and other stations can be configured with multiple layouts and user interface options. The host vehicle may use various flight dynamics, sensors, and weapons models. We simulate uplink/downlink delays, NATO STANAG 4586 as an interface option, and produce KLV-enabled streaming video per NATO STANAG 4609. These systems include support for Tactical Data Links, of course! Many of our systems also make extensive use of MAK Technologies products. We apply our corporate ethos of "focused fidelity" in the development of our training & simulation systems. We ensure that we're integrating "best of breed" technologies, offering cost-effective, "right-sized" solutions that are tightly aligned with the needs of our customers. Sound interesting? Please reach out to Murray Gamble or Scott Arbuthnot to set up a meeting or stop by the MAK Technologies booth (1420) to chat. #iitsec #iitsec2023 #simulationtechnology #tdl #militarytraining #lvc

  • CogSim Technologies Product Spotlight - Day 4: TDL Tools Having the right tools for the job is critical to success. Our Tactical Data Link (TDL) Tools suite provides the insights necessary to monitor, analyze, inject, and troubleshoot TDL network traffic. TDL Network Explorer allows you to monitor, inspect, and export the content of TDL messages on the network. Powerful filtering tools allow you to isolate specific TDL messages using various criteria. Enumerated field values are decoded and presented in a user-friendly format. The captured message content may be exported in a text-based, human-readable form, or you can interact with an SQL database of messages. Individual messages can be composed, saved & recalled, and transmitted on the network for testing/stimulus purposes. TDL Network Explorer supports all of the TDL types and protocols supported by our TDL SDK, including Link 16, Link 22, and VMF, using SISO-J (SISO-STD-002) via DIS and HLAe, SIMPLE, JREAP-C, and MIL-STD-2045 47001D (CDTALS). TDL COP provides a real-time 2-dimensional depiction of the Common Operating Picture (COP) observed via the TDL network. PPLI and Surveillance track information can be inspected, and overlay graphics can be generated to assist with situational awareness. TDL Test Application simulates a dynamic TDL-enabled platform that reports its presence on the TDL network using the J2.x and J13.x series of messages and provides a dynamic test/stimulus function. Want to learn more?
