Today marks the two-year anniversary of the commissioning of HMCS Margaret Brooke. The second of six Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ships built for the Royal Canadian Navy, AOPS #2 is homeported at CFB Halifax. We continue to wish the vessel and crew fair winds, following seas and a safe return home from every mission.

"Not only is Irving carrying this challenge for Canada, it's a sovereign endeavour, by young people, just like the crews of those ships." John Newton is the Managing Director of Fleetway, leading the way in providing extensive engineering, logistics and life cycle support services to the Department of National Defence. After serving in the Royal Canadian Navy for 35 years and retiring as a Rear-Admiral, John is continuing to leave a lasting impact building ships for Canada right here in Halifax.
