Today we are pleased to introduce Annesha Mahanta as one of our #HumansofDEEP. She is a Humanitarian Analyst at Data Friendly Space (DFS) and has been using DEEP almost on a daily basis since June 2020. She has been involved in around ten DEEP projects, the most prominent ones being in Ukraine, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and Afghanistan. She recommends using DEEP, because it’s an incredibly powerful tool that makes handling the often overwhelming amount of qualitative data in humanitarian work much more manageable. She says, "one of the best things about DEEP is how it streamlines the entire process—from collecting and tagging data to analyzing it and collaborating with your team. When you’re in the field or dealing with a crisis, you need to be able to make quick, informed decisions, and DEEP is built to support that."

Moving ahead to introduce our #HumansofDEEP actively using the platform. Nicola Iris Padamada is working at Save the Children International as Regional Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Advisor for Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe. She has been creating a number of DEEP projects, including a Gaza needs insight during the first few months following the 7th of October 2023, and a Children Needs and Situational Analysis, which has been helpful for the Save the Children strategy 2025-2027, and where few countries in the region collaborated together.
