Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: BSE(Rs. 1322.22 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1047.07 crore), HFCL(Rs. 752.83 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 710.50 crore), Indus Towers(Rs. 659.30 crore), Kalyan Jewellers Ind(Rs. 617.33 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 604.37 crore), Zomato(Rs. 582.95 crore), Glenmark Pharma(Rs. 549.36 crore) and M&M(Rs. 480.95 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:39AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 83.5 points up at 25874.45, while BSE Sensex was up 143.97 points at 84688.28 as of 10:39AM(IST)on September 23.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.36 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.88 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.82 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent) were among the top losers.
