Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 100.16 crore), Stampede Cap(number of shares traded: 8.02 crore), HFCL(number of shares traded: 4.57 crore), SBFC Finance(number of shares traded: 4.32 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 3.07 crore), Vertoz Advertising(number of shares traded: 2.73 crore), Rama Steel Tubes(number of shares traded: 2.41 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.35 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 2.15 crore) and Zomato(number of shares traded: 2.12 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:49AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 88.4 points up at 25879.35, while BSE Sensex was up 177.59 points at 84721.9 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.43 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.30 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.17 per cent), State Bank of India(up 2.05 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.83 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
