  • Gabriel Nyamekye Amoako Boadu is only 2 years old, but life has already dealt him a cruel hand. His tiny body battles a medical condition, while the harsh realities of poverty cloud his days. His father, a single parent, loves him fiercely. You can see it in the way he holds him, the way his eyes plead for a miracle. But love alone can’t feed a hungry stomach or pay for the care Gabriel so desperately needs. This isn’t just a story—it’s a plea. With his father’s blessing, we’re working to place Gabriel in a shelter home where he can finally have a chance: a bed to sleep in, proper healthcare, and the opportunity to be a child simply. And you can help. A donation of just GHS 20.00 can begin to change everything for Gabriel—food, care, and a future. For you, it’s a small gesture. For him, it’s life-changing. If you feel moved to help, Kindly donate to 0534653025. Let’s rewrite Gabriel’s story together. 💚

𝑨 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 ✨December 21st, 2024, wasn’t just another date on the calendar. It was the day I witnessed the heart of humanity in action. It was the day Project Ghana hosted its very first health screening. ✨Organizing this event with my team was a dream I held close for years—a chance to bridge the gap between people and the #healthcare they need but often cannot access. The journey to this day was anything but easy. Sleepless nights, countless calls, and moments of doubt. Yet, as I stood there watching individuals walk in—some shy, others filled with hope—I realized it wasn’t about me. It was about them. ✨I saw a mother holding her child’s hand, grateful for the chance to check her sugar levels. I saw a young man eager to know his blood group so he could plan for the future. These weren’t just numbers or faces—they were stories, lives, and futures that matter deeply. 🫶🏾This was more than a health screening. It was a promise fulfilled, a moment where strangers became neighbors, and care replaced indifference. ✨None of this would have been possible without the people who believed in the vision. To our partners at St. John's Hospital & Fertility Centre, our incredible sponsors including Optilite Foundation, and the selfless volunteers who showed up with open hearts—you’ve given me a memory I will cherish forever. 💡 Here’s what I learned that day: Small actions can ripple into something much bigger than we imagine. Every test conducted, every smile exchanged, every thank-you received was a reminder that #together, we can build a better world. What can you do today to bring light to someone’s life? What dream can you step into, even if it feels impossible right now? The world is waiting for you to take that step. Let’s make this year one of courage, compassion, and connection. Let’s choose to see each other, really see each other, and act with purpose. #health #projectghana #purpose #ngo #healthscreening

  • A grandmother shuffled onto the astroturf, holding her granddaughter’s hand with a quiet determination. “I need to know my blood sugar,” she said, her voice steady yet full of concern. Beside her, the little girl looked up, curious and innocent, unaware of the sacrifices being made in her name. This was just one of the countless moments that marked our health screening at St. John’s Keep Fit Club, where the open field transformed into a haven of care, hope, and discovery. The day was alive with stories. A young man walked away from the blood group station, his arms full of new possibilities now that he finally knew his type. Another woman laughed nervously before her malaria test but left with reassurance—and a big smile—as she learned how to stay proactive about her health. Thanks to our remarkable partners— St. John's Hospital & Fertility Centre, Africa Youth Empowerment and Development Ghana, Optilite Foundation, Decency Graphix, and Hilsbeautytrendz—we created a space where care met compassion. Together, we provided: ✨ Eye screenings to check for visual health. ✨Sugar level tests empower individuals with vital information about their bodies. ✨Blood group checks to educate and equip attendees with knowledge for emergencies. ✨Malaria tests, ensuring early detection and timely advice. On that sunny astroturf, we saw families arrive hand-in-hand, students line up with curiosity, and neighbors encourage each other to take their first steps toward prioritizing their well-being. It was a reminder that health is not just about numbers or diagnoses—it’s about people, their stories, and the small victories that add up to big changes. As we packed up for the day, the grandmother waved at us with gratitude in her eyes, her granddaughter skipping beside her. She wasn’t just leaving with results—she was leaving with hope. At @Project Ghana, we are committed to weaving these stories into the fabric of our work, building healthier and stronger communities, one event at a time. #sdgs #streetism #healthcare #health #ngo #projectghana #community #healthscreening #goal3 #innovation #management #sustainability #fundraising
