🌟 Enhancing Wellbeing through Creativity 🌟 Smart D8 is excited to share the success of the Smart D8 and Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA) collaboration at St James's Hospital, Dublin 8! Together, we’ve fostered health and wellbeing through three creative projects: 🎨 Artist in Residence Series: Emma McKeagney led wonderful art-making workshops to rediscover and celebrate the Bealtaine Festival, bringing together older adults from MISA and the D8 community. 🎬 Documentary Screening: "The Art Of Living", by Cork-based filmmaker Cormac O’Connor, celebrated the creativity of older citizens, showing how art enriches life at any age. 🎶 International Nurses' Day: Asha Ari’s performance connected healthcare assistants with their cultural roots, celebrating their vital contributions to the hospitals and the patients. 😍 Participants loved these initiatives and the positive impact they had on their lives. “Running a business isn’t easy, but accessing government supports should be.” The new National Enterprise Hub (NEH) aims to increase assistance for business and cut through red tape through a free single source which collates more than 180 government supports from 19 departments and State agencies.
