Heute in #Mainz auf dem #Fußverkehrskongress2025 war auch zum Ende noch viel los. Ein großes Lob den Organisatoren und der Moderatorin Vivien Leue. 🌳👏🌳 Und wieder mal dazugelernt: #Fußverkehr ist weit mehr als eine Verkehrsart. Laut Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr (#BMDV) ist diese älteste Art der Fortbewegung auch bei über 80% der Deutschen beliebt. Mit der bundesweiten Fußverkehrsstrategie soll nun eine moderne und umweltfreundliche #Mobilität gefördert werden. Los geht’s!!!! Die Abschlussdiskussion mit Stephan Willinger, Melanie Kupferschmid und Matthias Riegel war für mich sehr inspirierend. Wie können Städte zu urbanen Landschaften mutieren? Wie den Fußverkehr neu denken – als integralen Bestandteil zukunftsreifer, resilienter Städte? Wie dabei Klimaanpassung, grün-blaue Infrastruktur aktiv fördern? Und das alles Schritt für Schritt, mit dem big picture im Hinterkopf? Vieles wissen wir, einiges tuen wir bereits und mehr ginge sicherlich mit #füsseandieMacht wie es Matthias Riegel suggerierte. Es bleibt eine #neverendingstory die immer wieder Lust auf mehr macht! 🎓 Sabato 1 marzo, insieme alla mia collega Arianna Gallo, ho avuto il piacere di tenere la prima lezione di #BIM for #Landscape presso il Master BIM. Metodi, Modelli e Applicazioni Dip. ABC - Politecnico di Milano del Politecnico di Milano. 🌐 In qualità di #BIMManager e #BIMCoordinator di LAND, abbiamo presentato un approfondimento sull’applicazione del #BIM nella progettazione del #paesaggio, ovvero del #LIM landscape information modelling®. Un passo fondamentale verso l’#innovazione e la #sostenibilità nel #LandscapeDesign. 🌳 Dopo aver partecipato al master come studente nel 2020, è stato emozionante tornare in questa sede come divulgatore, in un contesto così stimolante e ricco di opportunità di crescita, con la speranza di poter ispirare nuovi professionisti a riconnetersi con la natura! #ReconnectingPeopleWithNature. 🌿 𝗖𝗼-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Following our co-analysis activities at the San Paolo School Campus in Prato in December, the LAND 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝗯 is now stepping into the heart of the 𝗰𝗼-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 as part of the GreenInCities project. Co-design is where ideas take shape collectively—where the voices of those who own, live and manage the pilot area merge to craft a shared vision for a greener, more inclusive urban space. 🎨 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼? We brought together about 150 students from high and middle school classes and involved them in our Animal Oriented Design workshop, focusing on how we can design solutions for 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. At our table of institutional stakeholders, we continue strengthening a productive dialogue exploring the potential of NbS in overcoming some of the most compelling challenges the study area is facing. 👥 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁? Urban transformation really occurs when its inhabitants become active co-creators of their environment. By engaging students and decision-makers, we ensure that the proposal to regenerate the San Paolo Campus reflects their perceptions and aspirations. This process fosters a sense of ownership, 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀—all essential for the success of urban greening strategies. 🚀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀? We will translate the insights from students and stakeholders into concrete design guidelines. Together with the Comune di Prato, LAND will refine the proposals, evaluate their social and environmental impact and prepare for the co-validation phase. Digital Twins are reshaping urban planning and city management. These virtual city replicas merge data from multiple sources to test and refine urban designs digitally before they are implemented in the real world. In GreenInCities, Digital Twins rely on data on enviromental conditions, biodiversity and social interactions collected by local communities and stakeholders. Some of our pilot cities have already begun the co-design phase, where community engagement is key to ensuring interventions meet local needs. One powerful tool in this process is the Bio-Collaboration Workshop, developed by our colleagues at Kaunas University of Technology and LAND. What connects #digitalization, climate change and #nature, and what role does landscape planning play in advancing decarbonization goals and shaping the future of #climate-neutral cities? These and other questions were addressed at the biennial international symposium Responsive Cities Design Matter(s) for Decarbonization organized by Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia. I am glad to have contributed to the panel "Digitizing Matter(s)" with the other keynote speakers and moderators (Mathilde Marengo, Lola Ben Alon, Deepika Raghu, Max Latour), sharing the applied research and digital tools we are developing in the LAND Research Lab to assess nature and its #ecosystemservices and steer the #naturepositive transition of cities and territories. ⚡🌿 THE KEY TO TRANSITIONS 🔄🔋🌱 La convergenza tra energia e natura: un approccio Nature-Positive per trasformare i paesaggi energetici Ispirati dalle stimolanti discussioni al Key Energy 2025 con Roberto Pagani Maddalena Pondini Federica Colucci Alessandra Scognamiglio Marcello Pomponi Giulia Valente Eliana Santoro AIAS - Associazione Italiana Agrivoltaico SostenibileENEA condividiamo alcune riflessioni sulla trasformazione in atto nel rapporto tra energia, ambiente e territorio. Gli obiettivi europei sono ambiziosi ma sempre più necessari per far fronte alle criticità geopolitiche e socio-climatiche: 65% di energia da fonti rinnovabili e ripristino del 20% degli ecosistemi degradati entro il 2030. Raggiungerli richiede un cambio di paradigma in cui la transizione energetica diventa leva per la rigenerazione territoriale. Ce sont les mots de Steven Guilbeault, Ministre canadien de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique, lors de la réunion d'hier à la Mairie de Saint-Laurent, où il a été annoncé que l'arrondissement recevra un investissement de plus de 7,3 millions de dollars du gouvernement fédéral pour renforcer sa #résilience face aux risques d'inondation lors de fortes pluies. Aux côtés d'autres autorités nationales et locales, Valeria Pagliaro a assisté à l'événement, saluant le soutien financier qui permettra de développer davantage le Corridor de biodiversité de Saint-Laurent. Notre projet est de plus en plus reconnu comme faisant partie d’une stratégie plus large de #connectivité écologique visant à relier les habitats naturels, les parcs et les espaces verts à travers #Montréal, démontrant ainsi à quel point la #biodiversité devient essentielle pour la résilience urbaine et le bien-être des citoyens. Cet investissement représente une nouvelle étape importante dans les efforts de Ville de Montréal pour intégrer la nature dans les zones urbaines, atténuer les effets des vagues de chaleur et enrichir la biodiversité locale.
