Ghana is making bold strides in its energy transition, attracting global investors eager to tap into its vast oil, gas, and renewable energy potential. On April 14, 2025, the 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠 will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and financiers to explore Ghana’s evolving energy landscape. Key projects include the Pecan 1A Upstream Project by Aker Energy, LUKOIL, and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, unlocking 268 million barrels of oil; the Atuabo II Gas Processing Plant by Ghana National Gas Company Limited, boosting gas output to 300 mmscf/d; and Tullow Oil’s ongoing expansion at @Jubilee & TEN fields. The TCP-UIC-backed petroleum hub, the first in West Africa, will position Ghana as a regional energy powerhouse. With 17 oil and gas projects in the pipeline and regulatory reforms making investments more attractive, Ghana is primed for sustainable growth.
