JEJAWI Advisors collaborates with corporations in Malaysia to assess and manage their biodiversity risks by utilising a comprehensive, data-driven approach. We help companies identify their impacts on biodiversity and their dependencies on ecosystem services. By analysing detailed data from various indices, we provide our clients with insights into their biodiversity footprint and how it aligns with global standards, such as those outlined in the MSCI All Country World Index. Our goal is to support companies in understanding their biodiversity risks, informing their strategies to mitigate negative impacts, and promoting responsible business practices. By working closely with corporations, JEJAWI Advisors enables them to take proactive steps in investor engagement and portfolio management strategies, ensuring that biodiversity conservation becomes an integral part of their operations, and contributing positively to Malaysia’s natural ecosystems.

We are proud to announce the publication of our updated 💫 Multi Tool study 💫 , the key findings of which were presented today in a webinar. 🔎 This study employs a collaborative biodiversity footprinting approach to estimate the impacts on biodiversity and dependencies on ecosystem services for over 2,300 companies, sourced from the MSCI All Country World Index and the Nature Action 100 initiative. The report, which is available now on the FfB Foundation website, presents the high level results and key findings of the study, supplemented by a detailed methodological document. The aim is to provide financial institutions with a valuable starting point to tailor their investor engagement actions and portfolio management strategies on biodiversity. 👀 The detailed company-level data, which underpins the findings, has been made available to members of the FfB Foundation. JEJAWI Advisors is proud to be part of COP29 Azerbaijan through the implementation of ISO - International Organization for Standardization 20121, a global standard for sustainable event management. As the world gathers to tackle the climate crisis, the event itself must reflect the values of sustainability. By adhering to ISO 20121, our team ensures that COP29 Azerbaijan is managed in a way that minimizes environmental impacts, enhances resource efficiency, and promotes social inclusivity. Our work focuses on building a framework that integrates sustainability into every aspect of event planning and execution, from waste management to carbon offsetting and community engagement. As Nelson Mandela once said, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” This resonates with our belief that sustainable practices at large-scale events like COP29 are achievable, setting a new standard for future conferences. We invite corporations to contact April Layla Joseph, our Director for Sustainable Events, for all their event sustainability needs. https://lnkd.in/g-fpeaF6.

JEJAWI Advisors is proud to be working with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and local partners to address the critical issue of peat fires in South East Pahang. In collaboration with corporations, federal and state government agencies, civil society, and the Orang Asli communities, JEJAWI Advisors is developing the Pelan Tetap Operasi (PTO) – aimed at preventing and managing peat fires in the South East Pahang Peat Swamp landscape. This vital initiative focuses on sustainable peatland management to reduce fire risks and protect one of Malaysia’s key carbon sinks. Through multi-stakeholder workshops, we are engaging various groups to co-create actionable strategies that prioritise fire prevention, monitoring, and biodiversity conservation. The PTO will serve as a blueprint for long-term, community-driven solutions that foster resilience and environmental stewardship in the region. JEJAWI Advisors, represented by Tim Hartmann, and Red-Archer Event Management conducted a site visit recently, with the dedicated professionals at the Food Aid Foundation to explore a potential collaboration for upcoming events. The Food Aid Foundation is an NGO based in Malaysia that operates as a food bank, redistributing surplus food to those in need. Their impressive donation base, streamlined operations, and transparency make them a strong candidate for partnership with us, not only helping to reduce the environmental footprint of events but also creating a positive handprint by directly supporting those in need.
