While the venue’s iconic architecture is celebrated, navigating its split-level floors and multiple entry points can be tricky—especially for visitors to BIMHUIS, the renowned jazz stage inside the building. Silo is creating a cohesive wayfinding strategy to make the space more intuitive, accessible, and welcoming, reinforcing its unique identity. What spatial branding can do for healthcare environments... Following Mecanoo's architectural approach, Silo developed an integrated plan to enrich the experience of the spatial environment inside Zaans Medisch Centrum. The increased levels of stress and emotion caused by being ill are counteracted by providing positive distractions to patients.
