On Sunday, December 1st, 2024, NB967 was successfully launched at Vard Vung Tau, Vietnam. The vessel was launched from a floating dock, ensuring the process was controlled and slow. Prior to the launch, the yard held a ceremony in accordance with the traditional Vietnamese blessing of the vessel. The vessel will now begin commissioning alongside the yard's outfitting quayside. Our Vard-newbuild Commissioning Service Operation Vessels have been designed exclusively for Edda Wind. With unparalleled flexibility and operability for operations in wind farms anywhere in the world. Edda Wind's Q3 2024 is out 📊 Here are the highlights: - Revenue of EUR 18.4 million (EUR 6.6 million above Q3 2023) - EBITDA of EUR 6.1 million (EUR 1.1 million above Q3 2023) - Commencement of operation for Goelo Enabler and Sudri Enabler gives a total of seven vessels in full operation. - Gangway performance and vessel utilisation significantly improved. - Vessel management takeover initiated. - Employment secured for two of our newbuilds directly from yard (Vestri Enabler secured four months + options from delivery in November 2024 & NB967 secured 6 months in Taiwan + options from delivery in Q2 2025). - In the signing process for C504 for a 12 months + 12 months options contract from delivery in Q2 2025. - Debt financing secured for C504, ensuring a fully financed fleet. Delivery and Naming Ceremony for Commissioning Service Operation Vessel C503, “Vestri Enabler” 🎉 Yesterday, Thursday 14 November, Edda Wind took delivery of CSOV "Vestri Enabler" from GONDAN Shipbuilders - Astilleros Gondán followed by a Naming Ceremony today, Friday 15 November. The traditional ceremony took place in Gijón, Spain. On Friday, October 25, we celebrated the naming ceremony of Service Operation Vessel (SOV) C416, Goelo Enabler, in the port city of Saint-Malo, France 🎉 The Lady Sponsor of the vessel is Ms. Isabelle Juillet, General Manager & Finance Director of Siemens Energy, France.  The vessel has commenced a five-year contract with Siemens Gamesa and will operate at the Saint-Brieuc wind farm in France. The name "Goelo Enabler" was selected to honor the historical significance of the Goelo region in Bretagne, which has a rich maritime heritage. By choosing this name, we pay tribute to the local culture and acknowledge the area’s strong ties to the sea. The term "Enabler" reflects our commitment to facilitate and enable the transition to renewable energy. Together, "Goelo Enabler" symbolizes both our respect for the region’s legacy and our mission to empower sustainable solutions for the future. Goelo Enabler is designed to set a new standard in the offshore wind market. Every effort has been made in the design to maximize the efficiency of operations in the wind farm.
