It’s not everyday that you finish a building! Catalina Bay Apartments are now complete and ready for residents to move into very soon.   Over the weekend we welcomed 200+ people through our first open home to view one of our completed wharf terrace residences. For those who missed it, we have another viewing this Sunday at 11am.   A huge congratulations and thanks to the entire team involved in this project. Check out this stunning shot captured by one of our Timescapes cameras overlooking 90 Devonport Road in Tauranga earlier this week - currently under construction by LT McGuinness Ltd. and Willis Bond! Due for completion in 2025, 90 Devonport Road will become the largest modern mass timber office building in New Zealand, with the cutting-edge 10,000sqm sustainable building setting new standards for sustainability in development and construction in New Zealand, and will be the new home for Tauranga City Council.

LT McGuinness is proud to be delivering the exciting 90 Devonport Road project, a 6 Star Green Star project, and the largest mass timber office building in New Zealand. 

It's fantastic to see Tākina, Wellington's Convention and Exhibition Centre, shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 New Zealand Architecture Awards today. Congratulations to the 48 finalists nominated across the 12 categories. Ngā mihi nui to Studio Pacific Architecture for this brilliant achievement, and to the village of talented people who made Tākina a reality, including Wellington City Council, LT McGuinness Ltd., Beca, Dunning Thornton and the many subcontractors and trades that worked on this very special project.

LT McGuinness are proud to have teamed up with Huria Trust to launch a construction training and employment programme in Tauranga. We're thrilled to have 4 local Tauira starting their apprenticeships with us, with more joining soon. Last week, we were warmly welcomed on the Huria Marae, where we acknowledged our partnership as well as gained a deeper understanding of the history and significance of the whenua we're working on. We're excited to continue our mahi together in Tauranga!

It's great to welcome LT McGuinness Ltd. to sign the construction contract for the Auckland District Court remediation project that we are delivering for the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand. Built in 1985, the 28,000m² Auckland District Court building comprises a five-level podium structure and a nine-storey tower above. The building houses 28 courtrooms, which represent 10% of all courtrooms in New Zealand and 33% of those in the city. It is a crucial part of the justice system and must remain operational throughout the remediation process, which will fully commence next month #infrastructure
