Schools from around NZ were involved in this year's Rock the Future AQA competition, where students got a chance to visit a quarry and learn about aggregates. They then had to write a poem to highlight the benefits of aggregates for New Zealand. Big congratulations to Emily who visited Belmont Quarry and took home the year 6 prize! 🏆 #BuildingABetterFuture #FutureofNewZealand #AQA

It was great to see our team jump to support FENZ as a fire broke out on land neighbouring our Amisfield Quarry. The team took 5 to assess the risk and then worked under the guidance of FENZ to help put out the fire and protect the DOC reserve and the Shaeffer beetle's habitat. The team embodied our values of protect and better together and they worked to support the local community. Great work by the team and FENZ. #Protect #BetterTogether #Take5 #Teamwork #Proud
