Lilla Integralen stands out in the residential district Vallastaden in the Swedish town Linköping. Where many of the buildings in the area are designed to capture attention, architect Thomas Sandell, decided to contrast with something a bit subtler, yet full of life. Inspired by old industrial buildings, Lilla Integralen feature a volume that is surrounded by a sinusoidal profiled color coated steel façade to create an interesting and playful expression. The distinctive façade utilizes premium GreenCoat® color coated steel in a Metallic Silver color. Do you remember Henning Stummel’s Tin House? Near the vibrant Shepherds bush area of West London, there is a revitalized area of shops, houses, flats and roof terraces, some up to four stories in height. Right in the middle of this is a space where award-winning architect Henning Stummel chose to build a home and office building. The Tin House maximizes space through six interconnected pyramidal pods where GreenCoat PLX Pro BT was chosen as the only material for the entire exterior of the construction, both for the roofs and façades. In the Litzelbach quarries of Grasellenbach in Germany, located in the beautiful Odenwald nature reserve, a unique project has taken shape. Initiated by Mayor Markus Röth, this space blends nature, art, and culture, providing a multifunctional area for all generations. Designed by PlanungsTeam FFS from Wetzlar, the project features an innovative building that serves as a cultural and educational hub, harmonizing with the wild natural surroundings. The project also includes a seminar area to learn about local vegetation and the historical significance of sandstone in the Odenwald. Implemented by Rathschlag GmbH, Löhnberg and roofing contractor Jung & Sohn, Weilmünster, the construction used ecological friendly materials like GreenCoat PLX Pural BT steel sheets for a timeless fit in the landscape.
