This festive season, FairPrice Group and Homeground United are elevating the tradition of gift-giving with an interactive OOH, allowing passersby to tear off a layer of their ad for a scent-sational surprise. This interactive activation from the larger #FairPrice campaign ‘Christmas to Your Taste’, conceptualised by TBWA\Group Singapore as part of Homeground United, was designed to celebrate the Christmas season a little better for all of Singapore; in case Turkey and Ham is not their jam. “We wanted a novel way for FairPrice to be part of Singaporean’s Christmas celebrations” said Yong Ping Loo, executive creative director at TBWA\ Singapore. “We’re happy that our brave clients had the same appetite to do something different to break through the clutter.” “This innovative approach to traditional Christmas dishes was born from the trust and close partnership cultivated between FairPrice Group and Homeground United. We're pleased to announce that our marketing campaign with TBWA\Group Singapore snagged two Silver awards at the Effie Awards Singapore 2024. Titled "Reimagining Singapore's History with A.I.", our museum's curators and creatives used our artefacts and stories as inspiration to envision alternate perspectives of Singapore – reimagining Singapore's history and exploring possibilities through carefully crafted "What If" narratives with the support of generative Artificial Intelligence. Be it an underground HDB neighbourhood infused with greenery, marbles as a professional sport or what would have happened if Sang Nila Utama saw a pangolin instead of a lion, the images evoked exciting new possibilities and sparked discussions of what Singapore could have been and might one day be.
