Thank you to UBS for the warm welcome during the recent Tech Connect SEA! 🌟🤖 WIZ.AI's Talkbots were highlighted as one of the deep tech technologies that have since improved people's lives. UBS Managing Director Lay-Peng Tan opened the event with their outlook on tech investment, "There are a lot of opportunities in tech. With tech, I believe we can change the world." Co-founder and Chairman Jianfeng Lu demonstrated WIZ.AI's human-like Talkbots before other tech startup founders and investors. The personalized Talkbot in Singlish garnered some positive responses from the audience. "I'd definitely prefer to talk to someone rather than be serviced by a chatbot", one audience member quipped. Successfully wrapping up our second Latin America-Singapore Connects this year! Enterprise Singapore, together with our partners organised the FFX Retail Demo Day 2024 to coincide with NRF 2024: Retail's Big Show Asia Pacific. We worked with the Singapore Fashion Council to host a delegation led by FFX Group LTD, which comprised some of the largest retail companies in #Brazil. Seven of our Singapore fashion and #retailtech #startups pitched to the delegation at The Cocoon @ Design Orchard, with innovative solutions ranging from sustainable textiles made from pineapple waste by Nextevo™, to a Portuguese-speaking AI customer support bot by WIZ.AI.
