This transformative project will replace the existing vacant buildings with two modern, high-quality apartment blocks, delivering 40 much-needed affordable homes to the community. Earlier this month, planning permission was granted for the construction of 5 industrial units at Beechwood Industrial Estate, Llandeilo.   Acstro is proud to have been appointed as the transport planning consultant for this project, developing a comprehensive Transport Statement and Travel Plan to support the planning application.   This approved scheme is a collaboration between Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government and Carmarthenshire County Council, aimed at delivering versatile hybrid business spaces tailored for various employment purposes.  This initiative aligns with the Welsh Government’s ‘Property Delivery Plan’ and supports Carmarthenshire County Council’s 'Moving Rural Carmarthenshire Forward Strategy' and the '10 Towns Initiative.'   As a Llandeilo based business we’re excited to contribute to the growth and development of our community!   #Acstro #TransportPlanning #CommunityDevelopment #Carmarthenshire #BusinessGrowth #Sustainability Image: Roberts Limbrick

We're thrilled to learn that our client, Innova , has received planning approval from Cotswold District Council for a new solar farm near Fairford. This 19.8ha project will generate enough clean energy to power approximately 2,700 homes, making a significant positive impact on the environment. We're thrilled that the Welsh Government has granted approval for Manmoel Wind Farm near Ebbw Vale! Acstro was proud to support our client, CENIN, in securing this Development of National Significance (DNS). Our team played a key role in planning the delivery routes for the massive components of the turbines, including the impressive 73m long blades, and conducted a thorough assessment of the environmental impacts during construction and beyond. "The appeal is allowed...." Delighted for our clients whose appeal against refusal of planning permission for their proposed self-build homes has been allowed. Located off a narrow lane, our submissions persuaded the Inspector that the Council's reasons for refusal over the sub-standard nature of the lane and inadequate visibility from the development access were not valid. It's been a year since we moved into our new office and we love being part of the vibrant and varied business commumity that's developed at Yr Hen Farchnad, #Llandeilo. Providing quality office space in market towns is a massive boost to the economy of those towns and (with our transport planning hat on) means that we residents don't have to commute by car to access comparable office space in larger towns or cities. Delighted to learn that planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of the Hendrewen Hotel, Blaencwm, Treorchy. The development by Martin Roberts - Property Expert includes refurbishment and extension of the existing hotel building to provide a bar, restaurant and new kitchen facilities. A new block will accommodate a village store at ground level and 6 rooms as tourist accommodation above. The site has no off-street parking and concerns were originally raised that the parking demand generated by the scheme could cause problems on surrounding street. Acstro Ltd undertook a series of parking surveys to demonstrate that there was ample spare capacity available to safely accommodate the expected parking demand.
