Clifton Hill, St John’s Wood, London, NW8 Work has started on our refurbishment project of a semi-detached villa located in St John’s Wood Conservation Area. The project, which has involved obtaining planning approval from Westminster City Council, includes extending the property at lower ground floor level, converting the internal garage and loft into habitable accommodation along with a complete internal refurbishment of the property, external changes include landscaping to the front and rear gardens and the addition of sliding gates. Great start to the year! Planning and Listed Building Consent has been obtained for the full refurbishment of the 6 storey property including lowering of the existing lower ground floor, replacement of the existing 1st floor conservatory, installation of a lift and A/C to this Grade II Listed property in the Bayswater Conservation Area just north of Hyde Park from Westminster Council. The property was built as part of the terrace and street around 1830. Many thanks to the Consultant Team who collaborated on the project. Works are coming to an end on one of our projects in Chelsea. The scheme involves a full width lower ground floor rear extension along with a mansard extension. The mansard was designed so that it is barely visible from the road.
