Age Diversity Management Toolkit As part of the HRM Theory and Strategy module assessment, all MSc HRM students recently participated in a high-impact consultancy competition, developing an Age Diversity Management Toolkit for Clanmil Housing Group, an award-winning housing association based in Belfast. This immersive and strategically challenging competition was designed and led by Dr. Sajia Ferdous-Gilbert, with collaborative support from Ruth Reaney and Karl Webb. We celebrated the outstanding achievements of the winning and runner-up teams in a special event where they were awarded certificates, recognising their problem-solving skills, industry research techniques, and innovative strategies for people management at Clanmil. Certificates were presented by Karen Gilmore, Executive Director of HR at Clanmil Housing, and Professor Ciaran Connolly , Deputy Head of School at Queen’s Business School. We're excited to have taken a major step forward with the Department for Communities in encouraging city centre living, by appointing Clanmil Housing Group to develop a mixed use, residential led scheme in the city centre’s inner northwest area. 1.7 acres of city centre land owned by Belfast City Council and the Department for Communities at Little Donegall Street, Library Street and Kent Street will be developed as a significant housing led regeneration scheme, with placemaking and neighbourhood connections at its core. The residential scheme will deliver a range of mixed tenure homes, consisting of social and private houses and apartments to meet the changing needs of people who want to live in the city. It will also feature community infrastructure spaces and commercial units. This important partnership will result in real progress being made towards delivering much needed city centre housing and achieving our targets set out in the Belfast Agenda and our Bolder Vision for Belfast. This multi-channel campaign was recognised for sharing straightforward, relevant advice for Clanmil customers, and signposting them to further sources of help. 🏆Excellence in housing innovation: Boxing classes are a big hit for Clanmil customers. For more than a year, we've worked with boxing coach Joe Harvey to keep our older customers fit, healthy and happy with boxing classes in independent living schemes and Housing with Care homes.
