The 3rd keynote presentation was from Peter Grimley, Assistant Director of ICT & Digital Change at Clanmil Housing Group (NI). With over 20 years of IT leadership experience, Peter specialises in driving digital transformation, enhancing security, and improving service delivery. He is passionate about aligning technology with organisational goals. Peter provided an alternative view to AI and Data for housing, highlighting some of the issues raised in machine-learning, including enviromental concerns over data centres, which brought on a discussion on the idea of HI (human intelligence) - a good listen for a balanced perspective. Our development team were out on site in Bangor this week, viewing progress on our new scheme next to The Savoy on Donaghadee Road, Bangor. The scheme will consist of 26 two bedroom apartments for the over 55’s.
