We’ve just released our 2024 Rab and Lowe Alpine Sustainability Report. For the last five years we’ve actively taken steps to reduce our impact. But realise that we, like everyone, must do more. Driven by performance and accuracy, we’ve taken the opportunity to pause, reflect, and change our approach. We’ve adjusted our journey with new GHG reporting methodology, improved primary data and recommitted to our net-zero ambition with new SBTi verified targets. Discover how we’re also taking action to ignite industry-wide change, improve standards in our supply chain, and foster partnerships for a positive impact. As our business continues to grow, we take the time to reflect on what comes next. Read our 2024 Sustainability Report👇 https://bit.ly/3mTUoZ2 #TheMountainPeople #WeAreRab

  • "Being in the mountains with likeminded co-workers, working in areas that are so special to all of us is simply an incredible thing." Recently, the Rab USA team took a day out of the office to volunteer with the Boulder Climbing Community (BCC). The BCC oversees over 500 square miles of open space and climbing areas in Colorado's Front Range.   Volunteering with the BCC allows our team to connect beyond work and contribute to preserving the climbing areas we love. This year, our teams worked on the Saddle Rock Project, a significant trail restoration in the Flatirons of Boulder, CO. Read all about it in our latest blog post by Warehouse Associate, Dylan 👇 https://lnkd.in/etCyAxuK   #TheMountainPeople #WeAreRab

  • This week, we're celebrating five years of partnership with The Outward Bound Trust.   Together, we take young people on a journey of learning and adventure in the wild to help them realise just what they are capable of achieving in life.   Since 2019 we've supported over 200 young people through unique learning opportunities in nature, working with an academy close to our head office in Derbyshire.   Each year we sponsor a residential course, enabling young people to tackle outdoor challenges including scrambling, abseiling, canoeing, hiking, camping and orienteering.   They also overcome personal challenges, learn the value of teamwork and raise their own expectations of what they can achieve.   By creating moments through adventures in the outdoors at Outward Bound, these young people develop skills that enable them to flourish at every stage of life, regardless of their background.   We're proud to partner with the Outward Bound Trust, and to celebrate every young person that walks through its doors. We're overwhelmed by the news that not only one, but three of our new Rab Spring/Summer 2025 products have made it into the finals of the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) Awards 2025 😀 🙌 The Veil XP 30, already awarded with the ISPO Award 2024, is a standout piece from our upcoming Spring/Summer 2025 Rab packs collection. Engineered with on-the-go access to gear and a 3D mesh back system that wicks moisture, flexes while moving, and remains comfortable over distance, this ultralight running pack, featuring 100% recycled nylon, is designed for everything from ultralight fast-packing to mountain marathons. The Phantom Jacket, Rab's iconic featherweight 2.5-layer Pertex Shield running shell, has been re-engineered, now providing even greater comfort, versatility, and protection. Made from recycled nylon and featuring a PFAS-free DWR, this jacket is exceptionally packable, breathable, and simply too light to leave behind. The Hypersphere Ultra 7.5 is the ultimate sleep mat for fast-moving pursuits in extreme conditions, from high altitude mountaineering to arctic ultra running. Achieving an impressively low weight of 610g, it provides an astounding level of warmth and comfort, with an R-value of 7.3. The finalists were chosen from a high-profile judging panel, comprising experts from the outdoor industry, at Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) 2024. In the next step, the finalists will be subject to an online public vote, starting in November 2024, to choose the winners. These will be announced in spring 2025. If you are at OTS today, feel free to visit us at stand 180 where our team is looking forward to introducing you to our Spring/Summer 2025 products! 🤝
