Founded in 1885 and operating across the UK, we have the specialist knowledge and understanding to bridge the gap between military life and civilian employment. It was an incredible day supporting London Poppy Day with the Royal British Legion! We met inspiring volunteers and enjoyed uplifting performances by The Specialist Contemporary Band (Blue Red Blue), Pinstripe Pipers, Band of the Grenadier Guards, Band of the Scots Guards, and the Band of The Household Cavalry, all of whom came together to honour and support our Armed Forces community. Today is London Poppy Day! Please look out for volunteers and Armed Forces personnel who are handing out poppies and collecting donations for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal at 70 locations, including Transport for London and Network Rail stations throughout the day. And if your travelling by train or tube, listen out for this special message from Bill Bailey. Wearing a poppy is a visual way to thank the Armed Forces for the sacrifices they make every day to protect our freedom and way of life. And your donations help the Royal British Legion continue its vital work supporting the Armed Forces community with whatever they need, whenever they need it.
