Sustainability is at the heart of this project. Originally rated EPC D, the building is being upgraded to EPC A, with the aim to also achieve: -       BREEAM Outstanding -       NABERS 5* -       WiredScore Platinum -       A 70% reduction in Primary Energy Demand from previous levels It’s been incredible to watch this scheme take shape so far, and the attention to detail at every stage has been inspiring. Great way to end the year. Early start this morning inspecting this out of town office following recent completion of a CAT A+ refurbishment scheme. Jones Hargreaves were originally instructed to deal with the dilapidations matters following termination of the previous tenants lease and have subsequently acted as EA/PM on the refurbishment. Our role included specialist involvement of our in-house MEP and ESG teams with the works including complete replacement of all plant and services, WC refurbishment, new kitchen facilities, internal and external refurbishment as well as EV charging on behalf of THOMAS LAWRENCE & SONS (BRACKNELL) LIMITED. A big well done to Image Creation Limited for getting the project completed under very tight timescales ready for the new tenant to take occupation at the beginning of the new year.

Our Managing Partner, Matt Williams FRICS Williams, recently shared his opinion about how a comprehensive approach to due diligence can streamline acquisitions. In this, he talks about why the profession needs to make sure a TDD report contains more than just the facts - and how it should interpret the findings to give analysis, direction and strategy as a helpful tool for parties divesting or acquiring commercial properties. Matt also discusses how technology can be adopted effectively and why doubling down on ESG is helping to pave a better way forward. He concludes: “Overall, TDD reporting has evolved from a purely manual, single-lens inspection process to a sophisticated, data-driven, and technology-enabled evaluation that incorporates a wide range of factors including sustainability, operational performance, life cycle costs and legal compliance.
