No individual, company or organisation can achieve what an organised, motivated and high performing team can achieve; disparate organisations are unlikely to achieve the levels of success demanded by clients. Often acting as lead consultant, we are acutely aware of our role in managing other design consultants, engaging with stakeholders, driving the best out of the proposal and maximising the effectiveness of the design. We do this by having a collaborative, non-adversarial approach; being both driven and enthusiastic about design we remain transparent and reasonable with our team.

It was a pleasure to host third-year students from Cardiff Metropolitan University's BA (Hons) Architecture and BSc (Hons) Architectural Design & Technology programmes for a 'Day in Practice.' Throughout the day, our team had the chance to share insights into projects and workflows, offering a real-world perspective of studio life in central Cardiff. These experiences are so important in helping students connect their studies with industry practice, enabling them to build confidence and understand the day-to-day realities of being an architect or technologist. "The facility is set to safeguard 500 jobs and create a further 100 roles, providing a significant boost to the local economy and contributing towards sustained growth in the South Wales region. "Lawray was initially appointed as Lead Designer to develop the Stage 3 and 4 elements of design throughout the PCSA process. Subsequently novating to the Principal Contractor team, Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd, and supporting with the construction delivery and handover protocols. "Every project presents challenges, but with dedication, development of strong working relationships, good communication, and integrity, the new facility has been successfully delivered and looks fantastic. "Hopefully, this will allow Press Glass to further their ambitions for development alongside their facilities located across the UK." . . .
