On Thursday we proudly co-sponsored a Celtic Sea focused panel through the Celtic Sea Developer Alliance (CSDA) at #FloatingWind24 in Aberdeen 🏴 The conversation, chaired by Tom Hill, explored the actions needed over the next year to progress the delivery of critical and Demo projects. A timely report from the FLOW Taskforce also launched this week underpins the need for these 'stepping-stone' projects to allow ports and supply chain to scale up and support the future UK and global offshore wind industries. A huge thanks to our panellists and those in the audience for a great session! Read our response to the Net Zero 2035 Challenge Group’s recent report “How can Wales meet energy needs whilst phasing out fossil fuels by 2035?". "Tidal stream and floating offshore wind must remain central to a diverse and resilient renewable energy mix in Wales. By not fully accounting for their contributions, we feel up to 0.5 GW of capacity has been overlooked. " https://lnkd.in/ewCcGsxp
