  • We are 𝙖𝙗𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 to have welcomed Leigh Ingham to Stafford College this morning for a lively question and answer session with our Newcastle and Stafford Politics students! 🎉 Our learners had a fantastic time discussing Leigh's vision for local politics and had the opportunity to pose their own questions about how Labour intends to address issues such as extremism among young people and the local housing crisis. A special shoutout to Level 3 Creative Media students Violet and Zak, who were busy filming a one-on-one interview and segments of the discussion for a mini documentary that will contribute to their final project. We can't wait to see the finished product! 🎬 🎥 We want to say a 𝙝𝙪𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 to Leigh for giving her time to join us and answer so many of our students' burning questions! 🔥🙌

  • As we wrap up another 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 #CollegesWeek2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what makes NSCG such a wonderful place to work and study. 🥳 Achieving back to back Ofsted Outstanding grades was a huge milestone, but what truly defines us is the the students, staff and community who make NSCG the success it is. Since that announcement, we've spent a bit of time meeting students and staff to discover what they love about NSCG, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍... Because whether it’s gaining confidence, discovering a passion for your subject, or taking the first step towards something new, it all begins at NSCG. 💕

  • Back in February, we hosted our annual 𝙋𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙘𝙤 charity auction. 🍕🥂 This morning, we met with Lou Macari at the Macari Foundation to present a cheque for a 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 £7192! These funds will now go towards helping them continue to provide support and safe, secure shelter for the homeless and people in need in Stoke-on-Trent. ❤️ Thank you again to all of our amazing guests who bid, those who donated auction lots, our auctioneer, Toby Hall from Leighton Hall Auctioneers and the incredible NSCG staff who pulled the event together. 🙌
