Last month, PHD UK hosted its annual thought leader PHD Connect event, diving deep into the subject of optimism with a new cultural research project called ‘Is optimism dead?’ The key takeaway? Optimism is alive and well in 2025. The research also found that optimists are more likely to engage with ads and take spending risks —making them a more attractive target audience for brands.
