This week, the WFTV team was pleased to announce the launch of its WFTV England Mentoring Scheme 2025. The England scheme is supported by the BBC, Channel 4, EON PRODUCTIONS LIMITED, Panalux and Panavision, Pinewood Group Limited, SARA PUTT ASSOCIATES, the Women’s Network at NBCUniversal and UKTV. This Scheme is led the Director of Mentoring, Sarah Wright. The WFTV Four Nations Mentoring Scheme is designed for mid-career women working in film, television, and creative media, the scheme offers unparalleled opportunities to accelerate careers in an industry where women remain underrepresented in leadership roles. We are saddened to hear that legendary Film Director David Lynch has died aged 78. The master storyteller and filmmaker made a string of award-winning films including Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet and The Elephant Man which shot at Shepperton Studios, as well as his surreal murder mystery TV series, Twin Peaks. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.

After seven films, Roger Moore shot his last scenes as James Bond #OnThisDay in 1985, on the 007 stage for 'A View To A Kill'. He continued to have an office based on the lot for many years and The Roger Moore Stage was named in 2017.
