Prism is a registered charity whose mission is to increase the flow of funds into the charitable sector
About us
Prism the Gift Fund administers charitable donations from individuals, foundations and group fundraisers. Individual clients can donate cash, shares, art or property, or make regular donations through their bank. We operate a ‘donor advised fund’ and donations into the fund are distributed to charities according to donors’ wishes. Lump sum gifts can be made into your fund at any time or topped up whenever suits you. Some of our clients take their philanthropy a step further and establish a foundation. We act as a ‘back-office’ for those that don’t have the capacity to do so themselves, dealing with the significant administrative burden that this entails. This can include: the processing of grants to charities, board meeting administration, submitting accounts and more. Prism also offer a 'Collective Fund'. This is an account that allows fundraisers to raise money without setting up a standalone charitable structure. We manage all the back office work involved with the day to day running of a charity, allowing the fundraisers to outsource their admin and focus on the project work. To find out more about how we can help you, contact us by email!

Reflections on Last week's learning 📚 : 💡 There has long been a push for greater transparency in grantmaking. In today’s rapidly evolving philanthropic landscape 360Giving have developed an open data platform aimed at increasing the impact of grant making in the UK today. Prism's Founder and CEO, Anna Josse, attended the launch event for UK Grantmaking, a new philanthropic offering from 360Giving, the Association of Charitable Foundations, the ACO - The Association of Charitable Organisations, UK Community Foundations , and London Funders. UK Grantmaking is a unique collaborative project seeking to enhance transparency and effectiveness of charitable giving in the UK, through the collation of data across all funding sectors. Thank you Tania Cohen for the kind invitation and CCLA Investment Management for hosting us. 💡 In the wake of the continuing natural disasters and ongoing conflict, the need for swift and effective disaster relief is vital. We know this well enough through our work at Prism, where we strive to get funds out as swiftly and efficiently to organisations leading the response on the ground. The CAFOD's Every Second Counts Phase Two event hosted at The Conduit, shed more light on this topic. At a time where the need for emergency assistance has reached an all-time high, it was inspiring to see how the CAFOD is harnessing flexible funding to swiftly and effectively respond to hidden emergencies worldwide, through a locally-rooted partnership model. A big thank you to Christine Allen and Neil Thorns for hosting our head of Collective Funds, Anna Cronin-Nowakowska. 💡 We were also delighted to join the Essential Series by The Dura Society to share learning on how donors can maximise their philanthropy through Donor Advised Funds (DAF). Anna Josse, Prism Founder and CEO was interviewed by Lottie Leefe, Founding Director of the Dura Society. Designed to facilitate the giving of individuals, groups and corporates, DAFs offer an efficient, time and cost effective alternative to setting up a foundation. We were also pleased to learn more about the work of the Dura Society, designed to connect, educate and inspire women bringing clarity and confidence to the complexity of wealth. You can see the webinar here:
We are pleased to invite Anna Josse, Founder and CEO of Prism the Gift Fund to provide an overview of Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) and their role in structuring philanthropic giving. Anna will discuss the ease of use of a DAF, how they work and why they are the way forward for philanthropic giving in the sector. Anna will highlight some of the interesting projects that Prism has supported over the years. ____________________ About The Speaker Anna Josse | Founder and CEO, Prism the Gift Fund Prism the Gift Fund (Prism) is a UK registered charity, a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) that administers the giving of individuals, groups and foundations making significant gifts, tax effectively to charities globally.
