2 years ago I ran the Manchester Marathon for Alzheimer's Society for my Mum who was suffering with this awful condition. Whilst I’ve continued running that was my one and only Marathon and at my age a big ✅in a box. Sadly last October we lost Mum and whilst it was a blessing in her condition it didn’t make the loss any easier. In her memory I’ve passed the baton (literally) to the kids and Meg F. and her brother Tom will be running the Brighton Marathon next weekend. We are delighted to share the news that 'Enclave Salford' gained planning consent yesterday from Salford City Council. The co-living scheme will be a first for the Salford and provide much needed entry level city centre accommodation for young professionals. Great afternoon at the Blackburn Beer Festival at Blackburn Rugby Club, raising funds for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone.
